| Description: | Occurs approximately 2-3 days before our students return for their first day of school. It is a fun way of welcoming back the teachers and staff to Shongum! Typical time needed from 11am-1pm. |

| Description: | Birthday Buttons!! Ask your children about their birthday button! It is an exciting way to celebrate your child on their special day. This person prepares the birthday buttons on a weekly/bi-weekly/monthly basis (volunteer preference) and delivers them to school to be handed out on the students birthday. Can be done on your own time, as long as those buttons are ready to go at school:) |

| Description: | This committee is helping provide wonderful additional enrichment programs for our school and students.
Do your children talk about the author visits? What about the meteorologist presentation? The mad scientist? The astronaut? This is a wonderful program that allows the PTO to supplement the magnificent curriculum our students are already being taught. |
